The Prayer Shawl Ministry began in 2009 as a way to minster to those facing serious illnesses, spiritual needs, and who simply need a extra “hug”. The prayer shawls are a way to let individuals know that we are praying for them. Since its inception, over 800 prayer shawls have been delivered.  Each newborn child in the church is also presented with a crocheted blanket. The prayer shawls are crocheted by ladies in our church. The ladies work on the prayer shawls on their own time. Sometimes they will get together at one of the ladies’ home and work on prayer shawls.
